30X30 may not be enough...try 60X365

Yes. Just when you felt like 30 minutes a day was impossible, and I was asking too much of you, I drop this bomb. Some new studies show that we need 60 to 90 minutes a day, every day!! This is true for everyone, but especially true for those who are trying to lose weight, or who need to maintain weight loss! Yikes! I know! That's a lot. If you don't believe me, read here, or here, or here, or here, or, okay you get the point.

In addition, this isn't the accumulation of 60 minutes throughout the day. Oh no, they want a pure, focused, intense 60 minutes in a row.

Fortunately, it's still a controversial topic, and many experts are disagreeing, indicating that 30 minutes is enough. But those that agree indicate that 30 minutes was the standard when Americans as a whole were much smaller. Now that we're bigger, it makes sense that we need more exercise.

Regardless, I think that this should put the 30X30 into perspective for you. Get healthy now, make the little changes now, before someone really is recommending 90 minutes a day for you. Because really, even I will say, who has the time for that!?
